Sheets Watch accesses the following Google user data:

  1. Google Sheets Data: We access the specific cell ranges you designate for tracking within your Google Sheets. This includes the content of these cells and their change history.

  2. Basic Google Account Information: We access your email address for authentication purposes and to send notifications about changes in your tracked cells.

Sheets Watch does not collect, store, or retain any personal information or user data beyond what is necessary for the functionality of the add-on within your Google Sheets environment.

How We Use Your Information

The Google user data we access is used solely for the following purposes:

  1. Monitoring changes in the specific cell ranges you designate for tracking.
  2. Sending notifications to your specified email address when changes occur in the tracked cells.
  3. Authenticating your access to the Sheets Watch add-on.

We do not use this data for any other purpose, including training, developing, or improving AI or machine learning models.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any user data to third parties. The information accessed by Sheets Watch remains within your Google Workspace environment.

Data Security

While Sheets Watch doesn’t store your data, we ensure that it operates securely within the Google Workspace environment. We use Google’s secure APIs and follow best practices for add-on development. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Your Choices

You have full control over which cell ranges Sheets Watch monitors. You can add, modify, or remove trackers at any time through the add-on interface.

Children’s Privacy

Sheets Watch is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on our website and updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.

Google API Services Compliance

Sheets Watch complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • No AI/ML Training: Sheets Watch does not use or retain any user data obtained through Google APIs for the purpose of training, developing, or improving generalized AI or machine learning models.

  • Limited Use: We strictly limit our use of Google API data to providing the Sheets Watch service and do not share it with external parties.
